Badger
manufacturers specialized earthmoving, railroad and
material handling equipment. Badger is located in
Minnesota and began operation is 1945. Badger also
has an extensive dealer network to support their
equipment throughout the US and Canada.
For on or off-road use, Badger
manufacturers a line of rubber tire excavators and
attachments. Their hydraulic excavators offer
power demand hydraulics (for maximum breakout force),
diesel engines and sealed all-gear drives. The
Cruz-Air rubber tired hydraulic excavator has the
ability to transport itself to the job site on it's own
power, thus avoiding the use of an additional transport
truck and trailer. |

RUBBER TIRED EXCAVATORS
Badger offers the highest
travel speed and gradeability of any wheeled excavator.
These units can travel up to 29 mph and have a 95%
gradeability, which is 50% more off-road tractive effort
than other wheeled excavators. Units are equipped
with front (optional) and rear (standard) outriggers and
each is controlled from the cab with a quick five second
lowering and raising time. The exclusive
Extendastick hydraulic telescoping stick adds 5' for
deeper digging and also allows the user to work closer
to the machine with the Extendastick retracted.
The Wrist-o-Twista gives the operator the ability to
sculpt 46-degrees in each direction from the center for
increased digging and grading versatility. The
exclusive quick-latch attachment makes quick work of
installing or removing attachments. No pins to
remove, no tools required and the attachments can be
changed in a matter of minutes.

TELESCOPING BOOM
EXCAVATORS:
The Badger product line
has a wide variety of easily changed attachments to
allow these units to perform an extensive range of
construction and maintenance tasks. Beyond their
use as precision excavators, the Hydro-Scopic can stand
in for backhoes, trenchers, graders and loaders.
They can even be used for lifting objects of three-tons
and more. These excavators provide five working
functions: the boom hoist and telescopes, the
excavator swings and the bucket tilts and curls.
All of these operations can occur simultaneously, even
while the carrier is in motion, under full control from
the excavator cab. New operators can quickly
master these rapid, coordinated movements while
experienced operators exploist the extreme flexibility
to make quick work of production digging and loading.
The Hydro-Scopic also handles precision grading and
finishing. Truck mounted Hydro-Scopics are built
on a heavily reinforced wide-flange T beam frame
designed specifically for these excavators. Cross
members are integrally welded and distribute working
loads equally. The swing bearing mounted structure
is welded integrally to the frame adding to its
strength.For general
